(1) According to subsection 6.1 of section 6 of the Act, if any document sent to the National Archives is required by the relevant office, such office shall send the document to the National Archives in writing stating the period and reason for the need.
(2) If written in accordance with sub-rule (1), the National Archives may provide such documents to the relevant office within a specified period.
(3) If the document is sent to the National Archives for a specified period in accordance with subsection 6.2 of Section 6 of the Act, if the relevant office wants to withdraw the document after the expiry of such period, such office shall send the document to the National Archives in writing, including the reasons for withdrawing the document.
(4) If written in accordance with sub-rule (3), the National Archives shall return such documents to the relevant office within fifteen days.
